No, but any statement made about an individual player in the immediate aftermath of the situation that occurred, and before Tevez's return has been (behind the scenes) no doubt discussed at length with the player, manager and the owners, may or may not be valid six months later.

Agreed. In all fairness, I'd much rather take a gamble on Tevez than Balotelli, at least Tevez gives his all on the pitch, whereas his team mates look fed up of Balotelli. In my opinion Tevez is a much better player and less likely to cost City by committing reckless challenges.

Don't know the full story, however if Tevez accepts what he did was wrong and apologised for it, and had pressure from his team mates and the board, don't think Mancini would've had much choice. Could be quickly repaid though.
