chilipepper91 Blackpool > Birmingham >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Cardiff >>>> West Ham

My preference exactly. Based on liking them more and the fact that Blackpool would probably be the weakest of the four to compete with next season.

Kitsondinho Shame that Blackpool v Brum isn't the final......I really don't want Cardiff or West Ham to go up....So the winner of Blackpool/Brum simply HAVE to go up!

I was thinking this earlier. But then I thought that if the teams were the other way around, then the final could have been West Ham Cardiff. At least this way one of them can't get to the final.

Birmingham over Blackpool, although there is a slim chance of a nice summer Saturday 3pm by the sea in the north west and amusing comments from Holloway on MOTD if Birmingham should fail.

^^^This.

Although I might put a few more >>> between Blackpool and Birmingham.

If I was a betting man (Which I'm not. Too tight), I'd be putting a reasonably large sum on Birmingham, however.

Hope West Ham don't even make the final so that big fat Sam can still make it out there for the Amir Khan fight

Brum might be hampered depending on how serious the injury that Zigic got against us is.

Blackpool would be my first preference but no problems with West ham going up, as long as BFS has a heart attack in the process

I'm predicting Birmingham; just a hunch really.

I guess West Ham would suit me in terms of getting to the away game but really I have no preference otherwise. The bookies seem to fancy the Hammer's chances but I wonder if they have it in them.

Anyway however it pans out I shall enjoy watching all this from afar.

I thought they looked better when he went off tbh and they played the ball to Redmond's feet.

With him, Burke and King they are a serious goal threat.

Gonna be great games to watch from the comfort of our Champions armchair in any case!

Yeah, thought Rooney looked really good when he came on and Zigic was a bit toss.

Can't see West Ham wining them, BFS will be far too distracted by the fact he's been overlooked again not just for the England job but Barcelona as well.

Not forgetting the fact (as BF mentions) he's got tickets for the Amir Khan fight which is on the same day as the playoff final.

Anyone but Cardiff.

West Ham look in the best form out of all of them, If they hold their nerve they will win it. Beat Cardiff at their place easily not long ago.

Its a bit of a myth that the team finishing 3rd has a poor record. It isnt actually true, the top placed play off team has a better record than any other place since the play offs started.

They are all on good form. Even when West Ham were in a bad run, they didn't lose many, so I am backing them.

Is there a game tonight?

^this, although I'd rather have liked Hughton to do it after the shit way Newcastle treated him.

Very tough call you can make a case for all four teams.
West Ham Side that finishes third has gone up 3/4 previous seasons.
Cardiff Not there best side but could be third time lucky?
Blackpool have a great record in play offs have they ever lost one?
Birmigham in great form looked a decent team afainst us have momentum.

I just have a feeling it will be Cardiff.
