Fu ck me, Blackpool are good at play-offs. Think I read somewhere that the win tonight was their TENTH consecutive play-off win and they have gone from fourth tier to Premier League just by winning play-offs

A quick look at their history shows their regular season League record from 1998-2011 is pretty dire yet somehow they have gone right through the leagues. 3 play offs (all won) and the rest have all been bottom half finishes.

I am sure we're all rooting for Blackpool in the final, particularly as they will be one of few teams with fewer potential resources to call upon next season than ourselves.

I do think, however, that West Ham will roll them over something like 4-2 as Blackpool's defence is comparatively woeful to most sides at this elevel - Ian Evatt for instance . West Ham have beaten Blackpool with ease twice in the regular season too, including a comfortable win at Bloomfield Road despite having Rob Green sent off.
