Premier league dénouement, part one

by LUX » 06 May 2012 13:54

Wot no thread on this? And yet there was one for the also-rans at Wembley yesterday.

Newcastle just about hanging on v Man City. Al round good news for Arsenal with Spurs losing. At the bottom, QPR only drawing and Bolton and Villa winning. Looking grim with a trip to City next week.

On the United v City front, I'd just about prefer the Reds.

City should be out of sight here.

And they are now.

QPR to beat City and results to go their way. It's still possible :?

Bloody QPR!

Fingers crossed Bolton can get something from their last game as QPR surely won't..

Fancy throwing away a 2-0 lead at home to a team that's just lost their mgr. That was there for the taking for Bolton.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if QPR lose against Citeh & Bolton beat Stoke aren't they still relegated?

I think Wigan may have to get a point from their last two, but otherwise, yes (I think)

Certainly a bit premature with the pitch invasion then.

What a pleasure to see Gylfi play at Old Trafford.

Wigan won at Stoke last year to stay up on the final day.

Swansea fans singing "you're getting sacked in the morning". Someone's getting a bit too big for their boots.

They won't be getting Gylfi next season & I predict a relegation battle for them.
