Victor Meldrew With only a proportion of tickets being sold to Liverpool fans I would suggest that there might have been some anti-Brits (there are plenty of them living in this country)within the ground from such places as Luton that could have been the guilty party as I have never before heard anything Anti-British from Liverpool fans before so why would they start now?

Have just seen on the Coalition Central thread your use of "loonies".
Is it your word of the day?

Handsome Man No goal, by 1 mm.
Carroll looked great, Downing looked very good, Johnson looked close to fitness and Henderson looked ok, not £14 million but a premiership player. But two things were more striking for any England fan. Firstly, Spearing isn't good enough for he Championship tbh, and there have been so many young English players who have looked shit this year. Secondly apart from him, of the other English players, Gerrard was the most disappointing and yet Gerrard is going to get into the Euros squad unless Houghton is extremely brave. That's what's wrong with English football.

Victor Meldrew Let me guess:- you were born in the south and have always lived in the south
You vote Tory
you are single and don't have children
You know nothing of history
you are a Sun reader
you weren't around when Liverpool FC were great
oh and your view is that Hillsboro deaths were all caused by pissed scousers and they deserved it.
Am I right on any counts?

When did Ray Houghton become England manager?
And does Roy Hodgson know about this?
