No, this is (also Wigan, from that thread).

Can't be as cheesy as the match commentary of our goals over the sound system. I feel the need to apologise to the away fans every time that comes on.

Things arn't going well, the club asked them not to invade the pitch and some still did, but only to goad the Wolves fans.

You probably don't remember, as this was pre 2005, but when Reading played Wigan in the play off semi at the JJB, fans came on and started throwing golf balls at Reading fans.

I recall the pitch invasion but not the golf balls, having said that I was right at the back of the stand.

Golf balls from Wigan and being showered by piss/coke/coffee/snot from the Wolves supporters in the top tier of the stand we've had the lot in play off semi finals!

You're thinking of Tranmere in 1995 m8. That was golfballgate.
