Pointless poll

Which of the "big 5" do you find the most tedious and have a real hatred towards

I went for Chelsea. A club lacking for too many years in either class or dignity. The only time in the last ten years that there was anything remotely to like about them was when the Tinkerman was in charge. But either side of then - from the time when Ken Bates took over and after Mourinho came in they have been nothing but a blight on the face of English football.

But I don't hate them. In fact, one thing I am looking forward to seeing again is Torres getting kicked off the park

"big 5"

Spurs haven't really done much in terms of the premiership or champions league

I voted Arsenal, mostly due to their past 40 years. Dislike Chelsea equally at the moment, but I did admire that 1970 team.

Chelsea. Pointless glory hunting flag waving fans that wouldn't be there if it wasn't for Roman's billion pound spending spree.

They, like Reading (yes Kes, get that in early), are an average sized club. Without that investment they'd be Aston Villa, but with less crowds. And yes Kes, for us that is but a dream.

Love this bitterness towards Chelsea - wouldn't like it any other way.

Went for Arsenal.

Don't hate any of them but they're pretty tedious, trying to live off a painfully sad reputation of playing ineffective football and a manager with a footballing philosophy that has reached a dead end and won’t win them anything. Its no coincidence that all their best players have left for Manchester City/Barcelona to achieve the things they could, and perhaps should, have achieved earlier with Arsenal

LOLiverpool. They have not been a good team in my lifetime, the club and fans need to realise this. They are a good cup team and that's about it.

One of the advantages of being old is being able to snottily look down on young’uns who have no appreciation of the history of some of our greatest teams.

Oh, and LOL @ the 2005 European Cup winners ‘not being a good team in my lifetime’. They might not have won a title, but nor for much of the last decade have they been as bad as they are now.

And what TBM said.

Yeah I hope they win it for JT. If they do, as a tribute to the great man I am going to park a Range Rover Vogue with a swastika in the back window in a disabled parking bay all day.

I used to hate Utd, but that's grudgingly eroded in respect for how impressive they consistently been for so long.

Chelsea are the club I can't stand, there's just nothing sympathetic about them and they're utterly classless and graceless johnny-come-latelies.

I quite like Liverpool, but a significant element of their fans are a bigger bunch of classless fukwits than Chelsea's. I guess I feel sorry for the club having fallen on hard times and become such a shadow of its former glory.

Arsenal are pretty exemplary as a big club. Run pretty well. Intelligent manager, if only he could improve his eyesight and learn what makes a good defence.

Man City ought to be disliked like Chelsea because of the moneybags issue. but hating them is like hating a puppy that's just shit on your carpet. Yes I don't like what it's done, but it's just so pathetically cute and incompetant that I can't help but be fond of it. It's nice to see a club who've been so put upon by such fantastically successful nighbours, for so long, get things go their way for a while. It's City. We all know they'll oxf*rd it up in a couple of years at most.
