All those clubs have either won the top flight in the last 10 years, or are one of the two most successful clubs in English history. Spurs don't come close to either of those.

I suppose you're right m9. The 2005 team finished 37points off top spot but won the European Cup. Whereas this seasons side finished 37 points off top spot again, but had no European games at all.

I fully appreciate that they were unstoppable in the 70s and 80s. They have a rich heritage and are a club with lots of tradition and, generally, respect. But they were last consistently dominant 25 years ago. I was brilliant at sh*tting myself, dribbling and drinking milk 25 years ago, I don't still harp on about it at all times. I accidentally shat myself and dribbled not long ago, and whilst I would like to consider it a great acheivement, and a sensational return to former glory, it wasn't really, was it?
