TBM Has Lee Dixon been poached by ITV now, btw?

Yes..about a week after the Euros.

Presume he didn't want to play 2nd findle to Hansen/Shearer and co...I don't blame him!

Decent performance but then we do fine in the friendlies.

I really couldn't be bothered to watch the match. I need to shake myself out of this post-Euros apathy. We ceratinly seem to do better without our world class (smirk/snigger) players.

Yeah but Italy had a completely different line-up to the ones that played in the Euro game

Gordons Cumming Looked like a team wanting to pass the ball and keep possession.

Was good to see us play it out from the keepers, even though at times they looked desper8 to kunt it up field. I very much doubt in a competitive match against a good side they'd have the bottle to try it again but it was much better last night

Vision
Gordons Cumming Good England performance.

Looked like a team wanting to pass the ball and keep possession.

Didn't miss Terry, Rooney, Milner or Gerrard etc.

Hope for the future.

Much as I agree with the general gist of the post we really didn't fashion a chance from open play until Milner came on. I'm amongst those that couldn't really see what he has to offer but credit where its due he was terrific when he came on last night.

So is Milner's best position on the bench as could also be levelled at Carroll?

Watched some of the game but flicked between channels.
From the other two games you could see why Huddersfield are desperate to retain Rhodes and why Reading will happily let Church go.
