Seeing as by joining STAR you get a few Royalty Points, we legally should be able to purchase points from the club without the attachment to STAR. I'm going to attempt to buy 10 points this week, and will report my findings.

If you join STAR, how quickly do the Royalty Points get added to your account?
I'm so close to a boundary (judging by the recent away ticket sales anyway - presumably they will use similar points levels in future) so wouldn't mind an extra 10 points to enable me to buy a day earlier. I can tolerate STAR membership in exchange!
