Anton Ferdinand Handshake

by royalsroyalsroyals92 » 16 Sep 2012 22:32

I wasnt too sure whether to put this in the handshake thread, or the Terry thread or any specific racism thread, so any mods feel free to change.
i Was sat here there thinking really and truly, its quite pathetic that Ferdinand refursed to shake either Terry's or Cole's hand. Not only has terry been proved innocent, Cole was just there to prove his innocence.
I purely think the fact that Ferdinand refused to shake Terry's hand was quite pathetic, even though the whole situation may have just been a misinterpretation of eachother, to prove his maturity he should have just done it for the hell of it. Even Patrice Evra (who i think is a bit of a cretin) went to shake Suarez's hand who had been proved guilty!
And finally not shaking Cole's hand was just ridiculous. Cole just told his side of the story, and I think its unfair seeing as Cole just had to tell his opinion that he didnt believe Terry was racist.
In my opinion Ferdinand was petty and should have just manned up and shook the hand - its a pointless exercise anyway!
Opinions?
