Fylde is in Lancashire, think it's on the Preston side of Blackpool. They play in the Evo-Stick Premier (northern equiv of the Southern league Prem) along side teams like Marine and North Ferriby. They were originally known as Kirkham & Wesham until 2008

Couple of all non-league ties there which is good. Guarantees a few minnows in the hat for round two and a shot at the Champo/Prem clubs.

Who are Cov's opponents Arlesey Town?

The Guardian tells me that Yate Town are the lowest ranked team in the draw, playing in the Southern Football League Division One South and West (rolls off the tongue that) – eighth tier of English football. This is their first appearance in qualifying round four, they have never made it to first round proper.

G'arn Yate Town!

They won the Southern league recently didnt they? I'm sure I've refereed them once upon a time.

Referee'd them a few times. There grounds is literally a park open space with a barrier around it and stand. The absolute bare minimum.

From Bedfordshire, currently in the Southern Premier League (8th). Their 2nd visit to the 1st Round proper, believe they also made the same round last year but can't remember who they played.

That's bound to be a really moody game that one. There will be harsh penalties for anyone stepping out of line.

It becomes harder each year to remember who is non league and who is league. You new where you stood back in the day when Yeovil were the perenial giant killers. Must be the first time I can remember Cambridge City getting further than United?

...did indeed reach 1st Round Proper last year - Lost 1-3 @ Salisbury City - cue stupid Welsh Accent. :?

"I know; coz I was there!"

Been to their ground too - in virtually a hamlet spread along a B-road, a couple of miles north of Hitchin in deepest/flattest Beds.

Funny thing is, until quite recently I'm sure there there was also an Arlesey Athletic. Ground is decent enough; have plenty of Dave K's signed shirts plastered about the bar and his clothing company 'La Roux' were one of their major sponsors.

They won the Southern League Central Division One in 10-11 Season

Must be something in the water around there - had Craig Mackail-Smith on their books too, after he'd been released by St Albans in 2003.
