Xmas pi*ss up

by Pat Butchers Ring » 04 Nov 2012 11:37

I know there have been many threads on manufactured ways to Improve the atmosphere and this got me thinking. Atmosphere and alcohol seem to go hand in hand. Classic example was west ham away where 90% of fans went by train. So Why don't we have a game (around Xmas will do) whereby as many people as possible travel to the game by Bus /Train. The lefty part of the Readings support will be happy as it helps the environment, local bars get more business and everyone else has a massive p*ss up.

Star- can you ask the club to do some per match entertainment like they do for the rugby?

LOL at how "lefty" fans in modern day UK means environmentalists, but in places like Italy and Germany some clubs' hardcore fans are very proud of being left-wing, standing up for football's traditional working-class roots in a very vocal "power to the people" type way.

Just an observation.

We live in a country where there is repressive legislation which applies only to football supporters :

Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985
