FCUM- Spur of the moment thing

by harryroyal » 12 Nov 2012 20:36

Just bought an fc united of manchester season ticket. Don't know why. I live in Reading. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Potential for a decent 'blog' thread here hazza, if you're now prepared to spend £00s of pounds travelling around the country watching FCUM, and writing a witty and entertaining diary of your experience.

haha could do. Not 18 yet so ticket only cost me £21. I'll call it a charitable donation, as i cba to go up north. Might use it as an excuse to visit family i don't give a shit about up north. Great club though, standing permitted throughout the ground, child tickets up to 18, great support. I can't appear to support another team in front of my mates though, so i will keep this quiet.

I went to see FCUM up in Manchester. Similar crowd to the Shed 7 gig I went to with rabid, tbh.

Harry, I'm sure you mean well here but was this particular non-league club worthy of a 'charitable' purchase of a season ticket when I'm sure they'd be plenty right on your doorstep that might have liked your contribution? You could also have gone to a local team's game once in a while or on Non-League Day

You're probably right. I like the idea of punk football though.
