I recall Chewitt (famous old Reading hooligan) and his mates walking up to the ground from the town centre, spitting on two Asian chaps as they walked under the underpass, chasing some black men away from their car, and overturning a fruit and veg stall owned by Asians.

did you cum?

Gutted. So proud to be from Slough tonight, the players did the fans & club proud. Just a shame they couldn't get what they deserved tonight, GK James Warrington should not be at that level, AMAZING saves to keep Slough in it, heard Brian was there but didn't see him :D

Great performance, very unlucky to lose. Mansfield's goal should have been disallowed for both offside and push, Slough equalised in 2nd half: free kick, hits bar, bounces down, headed in by Nathan Bowden-Haase. Mansfield captain gets straight red for assault, backs to wall, chances both ends, through extra time to inevitable loss on pens. EVERY player deserves huge praise for their efforts, as do those that organised a game with 8 times the usual crowd (1,596, not bad for two non-league teams).

Saw Brian in the bar after, happy to chat to fans, spent a good while there before heading off. As ever, proved himself a genuinely good bloke.

Word for the day: proud.

No Fixed Abode
No Fixed Abode I was at the last Slough v Reading game in the FA Cup. The away game was good 3-3.

Didn't think many of you plastics would remember that.

I was there surprised you were? Was that before you jumped on the Chelsea bandwagon?

As my local team I'll be supporting the boys, maybe even Brian may be there

Confirmed by Radio 5. He's sitting in the stands.

Scouting our January signings no doubt.

I was at this. A great old fashioned day out. Nasty little ambush in the darkened car park, people getting slapped about on car bonnets iirc. Went to the replay at EP. Seem to remember Mark Holzman for some reason. Scored, or got injured, or something. Great away kit that year

I too was there that night and remember the fun in the car park. I had to ram some ugly looking Belmont in a Chelsea shirt's head into a wing mirror, he claimed to be supporting Slough and openly invited me to come and have a go and it seemed rude not to.

Carnage in Maidenhead too and had to exit the train just short of Twyford and head across country because first class got trashed and someone pulled the emergency cord. Got tipped off that BPT were on Twyford station looking to nick anyone they could get their hands on so although we hadn't been involved we thought we would not hang around to try and plead our innocence!
