F1 station buses after the game

by Royals and Racers » 18 Nov 2012 13:26

i don`t use this service as i`m on the F12 bus service-however what is the reason for them loading the buses 1 by 1.when our bus leaves the queue is at least 100 yds long and it must be so frustrating for fans of both teams to have to wait for so long to get back into the town/station.Why can`t they load maybe 6 buses at once-surely that would quicken things up no end ?

They usually load three or four together. I'm not sure why they don't load more, but it might have to do with not having enough stewards to keep an eye on things. Yesterday seemed to go badly wrong - I stopped in the store for some early Christmas shopping and then joined the back of a very long queue, with only two buses in sight. By the time empty buses turned up for the rest of us it was over an hour after the final whistle. I got the impression from the stewards that this was worse than normal. But they got us on board very quickly (no stopping to check tickets or take money).
