leicsRoyal A different situation to our relationship with Viagogo but they don't seem to do well in the positive up publicity stakes.

creative_username_1 I had a look at the Utd tickets. The cheapest would be £80 once fees are added

What fees are added when you buy? I thought it was only VAT?
You get charged 10% for selling your tickets. They don't surely make money out of the person buying tickets as well?

Royal Lady a few pages back Bloody hell
. What commission do you make from reselling tickets? / Q. How much do you charge the seller? / How much do you charge the buyer?
Viagogo charges 15% to the buyer and 10% to the seller. This is standard across all events. In addition to our buyer fee we also charge for delivery
Nice little earner. I wonder whose decision this was? In consultation with whom?Or doesn't it matter to the club what fans might think

Compo's Hat Somebody's asking for £90 for Man Utd and it's in the South.
Maybe a case of buying and then try and sell to make a profit tout style.

Rumpole Just managed to make a couple of hundred quid out of my two season tickets for this Saturday. Buyer was from Manchester, but I assume they're a Reading fan.
May sell my tickets every game for this kind of return.
Viva Viagogo!!

Rumpole If I sell Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Liverpool at the same rate then the Season Ticket's already paid for. Anything else is a bonus.
Absolutely brilliant that I can finally profit out of supporting Reading.

Reading FC - Official Any of you Season Ticket Holders out there unable to make the Man United match? You don't have to miss out completely; sell it to another supporter on Viagogo - the official ticket marketplace of Reading Football Club!
Dan Hare My comments have been reported as SPAM by Readingfc Official. Just trying to make the point that Viagogo sell your ticket to ANYONE and at INFLATED prices. Do NOT use them. Reading fc are ridiculously stupid for getting involved in anything like this. If you do see an away fan in the home end YOU ARE WITHIN YOUR RIGYTS TO TELL A STEWARD AND HAVE THEM EVICTED. This is all about money, Reading FC has forgotten about the real fans. Those who have been there through cold Tuesday night's vs Oldham with 5600 fans supporting the team they love.
If you want to pass your ticket on, you're better off advertising to friends and family. Please for the love of Reading fc DO NOT USE VIAGOGO.

ZacNaloen Is there a post on here that explains how viagogo is legal?

I can do one. The law says that "unauthorised sale" of football tickets is illegal. By giving Viagogo permission to sell their tickets, Reading FC are authorising them to sell thse, so the law no longer applies.
So it is allowed from a legal point of view. Morally, of course, it stinks to high heaven, but morals don't seem to figure on the club's list of priorities any more.
