New Colours

It's worked for Cardiff. Time to change from blue hoops to red hoops. Red - the colour of success. It's also just as easy to sing "red army" as "blue army".

Reading should go back to this

Much better than the blue and white hoops, which QPR are more famous for.

The kits with blue-and-white hoops are looking worse and worse each year.

We should have a couple of years with sky blue again.

Any home strip compared to the Toys R US design we have now would be an improvement.

Maybe London Irish have some spare kit they can lend us?

bearing in mind the short tenure in the top flight, may i suggest the royals should be sponsored by "one stop" rather than "waitrose"?

I agree. Additionally refurbishing the club shop could lead to players being inspired and fans seeing changes at the club. It's simple all this and could save our season.

I also believe the stadium are could do with more plantage and flowers to brighten up the mood and change the performances of the players.

As the club becomes more family orientated - shouldn't we supply white shirts and then some crayons for some kid to colour in every week? I mean white shirts with purple giraffe or a picture of 'my mum' - what's to lose?

Once Pumas contract finishes, shirts will hopefully improve.

true enough, but yet still manages to be better than ours...if the current one had 4 hoops it would be bang on i think.....just 2 ft hoops looks a bit 'special'

It was probably difficult to tell as, prior to the internet age, you only got to hear the views of a few friends (not many supported RFC) and a few blokes in the pub!

Well exactly, so I thought I'd ask whoever on here was one of the few blokes in the pub at the time what they thought of it. Anyone?

It was before the days or replica kits or any effective inter-fan, so I don't think anyone actually gave a monkey's at the time. It was remarked on, but nothing more from what I remember.

It's only since football shirts have become "branded lesiurewear" that the colours and designs have turned into sacred cows.

I'm sure this was covered elsewhere but will next year have the same kits, ie two years of the shite they wear now?
