I was at the Coventry v West Brom match on 18th jan 1995 when he scored his contender for goal of the season

Chap I used to go to school with had Zimbabwean relatives - white farmers, one assumes, for this was the mid 90s - and reckoned Ndlovu's surname should in fact have been pronounced: Nud-shloo-voo.

Alan Green heard that once, and spent the whole of one commentary using that pronunciation (or something very similar).

On the other hand, I remember Ndlovu's first interview on MotD shortly after he joined Coventry, when the interviewer asked him how he pronounced his own name. He replied "N'dlove".
