Nah, you'd have had to have been a right mong to think Villa wouldn't improve as the season went on. Young side but some talent, new manager, underperformed last two seasons.

First time Liverpool have been 3-0 down at home since 1994. That's progress.

Unlike Chelsea of course who have often been 3-0 down and IIRC wasn't it Sunderland last year or the year before as well as many others over the years?

Agreed-a team that has Downing,Henderson and Joe Cole in it's side is not going to be challenging for honours.

Rodgers would like a top two finish. One of the comments regarding this was:

God Bless you Brendan Rodgers, your a funny guy, a funny funny guy, with your wee' liverpool scarf and your comical optimism, keep it up. Reminds me of a young David Brent.... funny funny guy!!

the only thing more LOLaughable than Brendan Rodgers having a job as manager at one of the biggest clubs in the country is our Kes' desperate attempts to make Liverpool an arch rival of Chelsea. It's like a Forest fan HATING Man Utd.

I agree. I should really target a top 4 side and not a mid table team like Liverpool.

Jeremy Clarkson via Twitter

I stand corrected. Man U is NOT the only team which hasn't donated tickets this season to @Tickets4Troops. Liverpool hasn't either.

I can't begin to imagine how ghost-like and pasty-faced you must look, not getting any daylight on your skin, what with trawling every social medium known to mankind for "point-scoring" useless information.

Not sure if you have ever used Twitter, but it's pretty easy to read stuff like that, you follow say 100 people, all their tweets come up on your timeline, including RT's, and one of those people is bound to of A) been Clarkson himself. B) Retweeted it or C) mentioned it. So if like me, Kes was on Twitter around when he tweeted it. Then you wouldn't of had to spend more than 5 minutes.

Yep, it was right there in front on me when I logged into twitter yesterday. :|

In other news

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20772217

Liverpool teenager Suso has been fined £10,000 by the Football Association for a comment posted on Twitter.
The tweet in question was a picture of Reds left-back Jose Enrique getting his teeth whitened with Suso swearing and calling his team-mate "gay".
The 19-year-old later deleted the remark but has been fined and warned about his future conduct.
Suso has broken into the Liverpool first team this season, making 13 appearances so far in the campaign.
The FA's statement read: "The charge, which the player admitted and requested a paper hearing, was that he acted in a way which was improper and/or brought the game into disrepute in that the comment was posted on his Twitter account and included a reference to a person's sexual orientation and/or disability."

Why, is his teammate gay/disabled?

Re-signing Tom Ince apparently, for just 5 times what they sold him for last year. Bargain.
