CayeneMatt Looked to me like he'd beefed up too

:|
This was him at 17

Chelsea have had him on a training regime to lose muscle ever since he joined because he was their heaviest player.

Thing is, Reading could have this type of player on loan but they won't. The reason being there is no chance of signing him on a perm basis. Fair enough BUT sometimes a loan signing could be the difference of going down and staying up.

Brianstorm The guy's a beast. The Baggies will find it nigh on impossible to replace him.

They may not need to as he's already made it clear he wants to stay there next season as well.

That's only if Chelsea don't want to play him

And then leaves a massive hole in the team the following year. Can understand McD's point of view on this one.

I'd much prefer the problem of finding a replacement in the PL than not having the hole to fill in the Championship.
That would leave us with a very different black hole

Didn't he weigh in at well over 300 pounds?

toppy Torres will be on loan at slough next year.

If this guy doesn't waste his ludicrous level of talent he will be the world's most complete striker at some point during his career. That was a seriously scary performance yesterday, he lit up an otherwise fairly run-of-the-mill (in PL terms) West Brom team.

BTW, Dorrans has been told he can leave. Shirley worth a cheeky bid...?

marcusopp You all forgot one thing;
Torres and Rafa are clearly blowing each other!
I know rafa wasn't there when Lukaku went on loan, but it's funny.
PS, chelsea can presumably recall him whenever they want, right? Why the feck don't they?

I would assume there isn't a lot of space in the team for him, Ba, Torres and Walters.

They can recall him during January.

Roman loves Torres.
They've just signed Ba.
They have loads of attacking midfielders so can only play 4-2-3-1 really.
Presumably they think that in the long term they'll benefit from Lukaku playing at West Brom more than they will from him occasionally coming off the bench. But if Ba gets injured before the end of the month, I reckon he'll go back.

Wouldn't we all, I'm just saying that if Brian is looking to build a team, then having a guy of the qualities you won't be able to replace next season as the focal point isn't ideal.
