More on the Stoke City story. The club are to investigate an incident said to have taken place at their training ground.

A pig's head is reported to have been left in the locker of striker Kenwyne Jones, who is said to be furious on discovering it.

"The club takes seriously reports of an incident at our training ground this afternoon," said Stoke City in a statement. "A full internal investigation will be carried out and those responsible for any unacceptable behaviour will be dealt with."
