9/10 - mistook The Valley for St Andrews, despite having been to both on numerous occasions.

7/10

Would have been worst had I not been 100% sure about which one Elland Road was.

Doesn't really matter if you've been there - even I don't get an aerial view of the stadium.

TBF I suspect none of us have parachuted in from any height and would possibly not have seen the ground for that standpoint. Also it's clear that the photos are taken from varying heights which makes sizing the grounds difficult.

That's me building up to say 6/10.

10/10 for me.

Guessed the Maracana.

And went to Dortmund and Shalke last year so could get the Westfalen stadion having stayed about 200 yards from it.

You can work it out though can't you - like the Brittania is unusual in for a relatively modern stadium because the corners aren't filled in. Also some grounds are right in the middle of residential streets (eg Anfield) while some are out of town and surrounded by main roads (eg Pride Park).

As has just been said, I worked out the ones I'd been to (which was probably about 7 or 8 of them) more from the surrounding area than the grounds themselves. For example there's one that even if you didn't have a clue what Goodison Park looked like, you could be fairly confident in predicting Everton due to the rows and rows of terraced streets behind it. There's another that I thought might have been Anfield, but realised it wasn't because I knew from my trip there that there wasn't a massive car park going all the way round it...

Indeed, the Brit was one of the ones I got, purely because of the shape of the stands. The other easy one was Goodison Park, because the angle Goodison Road is to the stadium cuts a massive chunk off one of the stands.

I got all the ones that I had been to as I remember the walks up to the stadium, gives you an idea of what is around it and so forth. I remembered the roundabout near the Britannia with the Harvester next to it from the walk from the car park. Just get an idea of how dense the housing is around, where there are carpark at the ground, etc etc.

In general, I'd agree, especially out the Brit

Goodison though is easy to pick out as it has the church in the corner of the ground, much like Burnden Park had that oxf*rd Normid shop taking up half the away end.
