by Stuka » 19 Jun 2013 15:21

Now this sounds positively enchanting...

Just say "I do" with Millwall Football Club for £1500

A fabulous opportunity to make your special day even more memorable with our new Wedding Package available right here at The Den.

This super new package includes:

Room Hire

Resident DJ

Finger buffet for minimum of 80 guests

Your wedding doesn't have to be as expensive as you think and with our great price of £1,500 it means you will have that little bit extra to spend on other items. If you want to make your day even more memorable, why not add on some of our optional extras?
We can also assist with local accommodation, transport and flowers.

Reminds me of the time there was a focus group at Millwall with a bunch of supporters to talk about potential ideas to increase attendances. One of the ideas that was suggested was a way to increase female attendance by way of a "Bring yer bitch for a quid day."

My now wife went to Goldsmith's College, very close to Millwall FC, and one afternoon I was having a pint in the student's union and noticed the Goldsmith's Feminist Society had a table and were selling raffle tickets. Millwall FC had donated several prizes including match tickets and I feel the Society would have been most displeased with your revelation.

Finger buffet? I shudder to think at what that could mean in the context of Millwall

If you marry a ladyboy, does that count as civil partnership or marriage as it stands? I just have this image of guys booking the Millwall package after a trip to Thailand.

Problem with Millwall is there's what the club want you to think about them and what the fans make you think about them.
