Poss team, based on Adkins hints and OS teasers...

Adkins mentioned Obita and Griffin as full backs.

Feds
Obita, Pearce, Morro, Griffin
Akpan, Guthrie, Williams
McAnuff, ALF, Blackman

Subs: Taylor, Partridge, D'ath, Karacan, J Taylor, Pog, Ugwu, Samuel, Tshibola

We seem a bit over loaded with centre midfield and strikers, so maybe D'ath or Jake taylor may play as full backs for a half?

I am expecting about 8 subs at half time, like a preseason friendly...

I was discussing this game at lunch with our IT guy, and we were suggesting it must be the most pointless match, ever. However, for a very small and possibly non-existent group of fans, it will be the best match ever. For all those Omani (?) Reading fans, this will be a dream come true. Do we think that the OP is possibly one of this rare breed of Royals?

Seeing as this will be his first Reading game and he must be at least 54 years of age... yes thats a rare breed.

Back to the armchair 8)

ReadingRooney Hello,

I am new to this forum and will be visiting my first game this Saturday as Reading take on Oman at the Madejski Stadium. I will be bringing my son, Michael, of 3 years, my other son, Jacob, of 2, and my wife, Margaret, of 54. I anticipate that I will be seated in the West Stand, as I have been told that the East Stand is for drunken brutes, and I prefer an atmosphere that you'd associate with cricket, more than the stereotypical 'who are ya*?' dribble that comes with the beautiful game.

I am wondering, how would I get to the Madejski Stadium? I am currently living in Oxford and have supported the mighty Royals for just over 5 months now.

Thank you for your help, fellow R's! COME ON THE BOYS IN BLUE AND WHITE.

* ya = you.

Seriously, will the attendance even reach 4 figures for this one? Is more than the West Stand going to be open?

Well all those drunken brutes in the East Stand make there way to the West Stand and ruin ReadingRooney's (which is the most stupid name ever on here) day?

With the assumption that everyone in the East Stand is a brute, I really hope they do.

The East Stand isnt full of brutes, if you want a club which don't sing and have no atmosphere go to Wycombe.

Thanks and Goodnight 8)

Don't ask for advice from a group of people whilst calling them drunken idiots, how about some manners? How's that for a start?

Reading will play a 4-3-2-1 formation, Oman will reply with Camels and scantily-clad Houris, The supporters, being men, will immediately start cheering the Oman femail contingent and the match will be drawn.

Apologies for the above post, I hadn't seen the latest news. Apparently, Oman have already surrendered and we are now giving them 8M of Aid so that their rulers can add tennis courts to their palaces. The match will still be played and RFC will be allowed to win 4-0 with Pog getting 4 regardless of how cr*p he is.
