First time to Madjeski

by sigurpall » 15 Sep 2013 23:35

Hi guys

I was wondering, i'm going to Reading over then weekend from 8th to 11th of november. I was really glad to see that Reading has a home game against QPR at that weekend so i might be able to go and see them in action on Madjeski!

I was just wondering, where are the best seats of the stadium? I want to be where the most atmosphere is! in the action! on wich part of the stadium should i try to get ticket?

Thanks guys
wishes from Iceland!

Trap 2
Gents toilets North Stand

We are truly Dump at the moment

The graffiti on the door in there is more interesting than whats going on anywhere else.

Seriously if you want tickets you will probably get them anywhere in the ground.

The views in the stadium are pretty good where ever you are, but the atmosphere is better in the East stand so if you have a choice get one there.

Just avoid the first few rows of seats in any stand as you'll get wet if it rains.

Y26/Y25 of the East Stand - towards the top for the best atmosphere.

May i also take this moment to thank you for the following;

Firstly, on the off chance this is NOT a wind-up, it is spelt Madejski - and people who cannot spell our stadium name correctly, let alone pronounce it properly, need a good shoe-ing.

For atmosphere call the ticket office and book East Stand, Y25 or Y26 and ask for Row Z upwards.

Whilst you are right, I really would love to be able to get into the East Stand and rearrange some of the seats before a game - Madejski's face would be an absolute picture if he looked out of that boardroom window and saw the East Stand shouting Madjeski at him!

Not just the first few rows - you need to be at least Row R if you really want to avoid getting wet.

By way of return sigar, can I ask you a question about Icelandic domestic football?

Is there any terracing at the games? In the lower divisions maybe? And what sort of crowds do you get for the average league game?
