John Madejski's Wallet Defenders shepherding the ball out.

My biggest gripe ..... most of the time its simple obstruction/body-checking FFS :evil:

Similarly, obstruction when trying to keep the ball in the corner flag in injury time, this would be a free kick in the middle of the pitch so why not there?

goalkeepers flying out to punch the ball clear and getting someone's head in the process - never a free kick

they've cut down on bad tackles that win the ball but not this

If they have their foot on the ball or touch it every now and again then its not obstruction

Ball has to always be within playing distance though. You often see it when the ball is 2/3 or more yards away. It's just one of the unwritten rules of football (spinoff potential)

Sanguine I hate that too. I don't think you correct one with the other.

Let attackers challenge the keeper like they would challenge for a header; equally, don't let attackers literally stop the keeper from moving towards the ball.

+1 Someone gets assigned to foul the keeper, basically stand as close as he can and obstruct. Just make it so you can't be within 5 yards of the keeper at a corner

Real BFS/Pulis bullshit tactic. I bet deep down they're actually livid if the guy whose job it was to foul the keeper actually scores

Played a lot of basketball where shielding/blocking is used all the time so not so fussed about that (few rules like the blocker has to be stationary etc)

The Premier League
The trendification of "footy" by middle class kunts who think football started in 1992
Andy Gray & Richard Keys
Someone said earlier, when pundits say "your Man Yoo's, your Cheleas, your Arsenals, your Beckhams, your Scholes and your Wayne Rooneys"
Footballers having to be role models
Foreign owners (although Cardiff deserve their hatstand owner)
Football being referred to as big business
Ridiculous wages paid to very average footballers

I don't mind the 'your Arsenals & your Chelseas' cliche that much, except that whenever someone says it, they always seem to mention every team it applies to. 'The relegated teams, you know, your QPRs, your Readings, your Wigans'

Whole banks/stands/sections of supporters wearing their team's shirt at every single game;
People who abuse people wearing replica shirts from time to time, because they themselves are too cool for that kind of thing;
Players crowding round the ref for every pisssy little decision;
Players in headphones at every spare moment, just chillin' out yeah;
Lack of any sort of brain cells in the average English/British footballer;
Every shit and fart of the PL being scrutinised as if it were some great philosophical work;
Just about every player for England being an overrated, overpaid fool;
Mediocre players being £millionaires;
Money, money and then even more money;
Football "only started in 1992";
Wayne Rooney's sulks;
Wayne Rooney being worse than he was in 2004;
Players' musical tastes continuing to be absolute shit (some things never change);
The same players, same clubs winning so much of the time;
Sepp Blatter - FIFA - UEFA etc.
