TBM If anything the two goals last night were flukey

Kasami's is a shinned cross and Sidwell's 'shot' is just him trying to control it with his usual 20 yard trap.

Big Foot Those 2 goals (for me) are massively better than the flukey goal that Wilshere scored for Arsenal on Saturday.

Sidwell's goal very reminiscent of Cantona's winning goal in the FA Cup Final of 96 - backpeddling volley on the edge of the area. Sidwell's more spectacular though.

Wilshere's flukey? lol, now come on....the movement throughout the whole goal was superb

If anything the two goals last night were flukey, as they were really just a hit and hope (similar to the goal Crouch scored against City)

You're right, Wilshere's goal was not flukey.

Neither were the two goals last night.

If the two goals last night were flukey, aren't all spectacular long range efforts?

There's an element of luck in all long range shorts, you have to time it perfectly.

How often does Sidwell send those shots into row zz?

When you hit a long range shot, the chances of it going in are slim....is it flukey when it does?!, dunno but when you have great build up play and movement for a goal (ala Arsenal on Saturday) then its not a fluke, its skill

Isn't fluke, doing something you didn't mean to do and it comes off......you see Arsenal making those runs/passes all the time, this time it resulted in a goal

By definition this one must of been flukey then, as all the opther times Arsenal try to pass a team to death it goes wrong

Perfect technique from Sidders and Kasami last night (and that bird form Ireland if someone wants to find the clip) os not flukes

A fluke is something that they just didn't mean to happen - our goal against Grimsby a decade ago

Scott Nisbet vs Bruges in this

or that Brolin goal. That's AWESOME

yeah

Kasami was playing the percentages a bit, get it on target and the keeper isn't going to expect a shot from there.

I'll also be honest and say I'd never heard of him before last night.

Then Kasami's and Sidwell's goal weren't flukes, they intended for them to go in.

They were just a bit lucky, as all long-range efforts are.

Fluke =/= Lucky

I am now realising what a strange word "fluke" is.

Flukey flukey fluke.

The touch by Wilshere on the edge of the area is as much him playing the percentages (by flailing his leg out there to control the ball) as either goal last night, or Crouch's vs Man City.
