There are obvious safety implications, particularly if flares are thrown about like. Others simply resent having their views blocked by smoke and fans have been hospitalised with smoke inhalation."

Nothing wrong with any of that Aggers. I would suspect that the majority of fans do not want flares, in which case, the FSF are representing the majority.
