Wouldn't it be nice to think that rather than threaten to sue the pants off a tiny football club that they might instead embrace the fact that Fleet named their club after THFC and perhaps offer some sort of tie-in.....that would be good publicity and far more likely to 'secure the brand name' than aggressive persecution of an amateur club few would have heard of![]()
Of course, the best way to protect your brand name is by being successful.....and coming nowhere near to a league title in more than half a century and spending £120 million on a side which has managed an impressive 9 league goals all season is, I'd suggest, far more detrimental to a 'brand name' than having a miniscule 'rival' football club adopt a similar club crest
