Okay so Post & Telegraph then Evening Star before the game (unless we stumble across somewhere packed with Reading fans) but our train back is gone 7 so any pubs we should head to before we go home? Caxton? George?

Heard that there's a great one at the end of the pier. You should go there.

Given the weather you might need to take one of those flares you're so fond of.

Do I not?

Can't say I've given you much thought tbh. I was kinda going for the whole tell us where you're going so everyone else can avoid it vibe rather than the I hate Will95 and want gouge his eyes out with a spoon vibe.

Maybe you're just a paranoid.

Awwwww Will :-(

I like you. Why don't we meet, just you and me I mean, down in Brighton? There's a lovely area behind the pub opposite Brighton train station, next to the kebab shop. I'll be there about 1pm.

The parking is expensive but they have most alternatives sown up with a HUGE parking exclusion zone, an army of enforcement officers, and no park and ride to the north of the ground!

If you want to save a few quid then park in Lewes and get the train is easiest. Alternatively search for Coombe Road in Brighton, park for free on one of its offshoots (Ewhurst Road is usually good) and then catch the 25 bus from the main road (Lewes Road)

Weather is better in Brighton than Reading thankfully!

We are parking in town centre, hitting the Post & Telegraph for gammon, egg, & chips and a few pints. Then gonna park up at Mithras House P&R or the roads behind it if it's full.

Avoid the racecourse Park & Ride as it will be a mudbath!

In post and telegraph now.

Bit rubbish for atmosphere. I'd recommend somewhere nearer station.

I plan to go to evening star

I was there but left. No atmosphere.

However can't find any real good pubs with atmosphere. Will head to ground at 2ish unless things improve.

Loads of reading but just split up everywhere

We had lunch in P&T bout midday now we're at The Lectern pub next to the Mithras House Park & Ride. Hardly any traffic and loads of spaces left, which is a bit of a suprise. It's rammed for league games usually!

Two arrests in the away end for criminal damage, ripping up two seats and throwing one at another Reading fan.

Someone contact Royal_Kingsley, tell him to make an application to the scorpions, they could do with more people with that mindset.

Makes me laugh though that Brighton fans on their forum were mocking Reading "Hooligans" for their stupidity and trying to be threatening and intimidating yet hiding behind a row of stewards.

In reality, aren't all fans like that? Especially when they take a decent amount of away fans to a fairly local game. You always get idiots doing hand signs, or cutting throat signs, or acting big and hard.
