Pouring and storing problems can be solved with plastic bottles and cans. Stadiums in the US sell them, though maybe we aren't quite as prone to throwing any loose object at players.

This brewery sponsors my Thursday night team - very good stuff

They sell plastic bottles at Fulham.

I think it's more that English people just like drinking a pint. A bottle isn't the same.

Nameless
Green So still involves queuing up, and probably a wait while they try and find your order.

Surely they know that usually at half time each bar sells 1000 pints (or whatever), so why don't they just pre pour 20% less than this to be on the safe side.

Where do you keep 800 poured pints of beer ?

Probably in those plastic pint glasses

AbovetheI Did this for years in Y25. Scan the QR code on the back of Ratty's* head and your Fosters is waiting for you before you light your half time fag.

**only veteran Y25ers will get this

It isn't failsafe though. I ordered a Fosters yesterday and got a Guinness...

Well they do look similar.....oh

Not seen Ratty at a game for ages. Will have to keep a keener eye out in future!
