P!ssed Off Not fussed what all the happy clappers say.
A home match against a shit team where we can't even muster a solitary shot on target is absolutely pathetic.
No two ways about it.

Well at least you're consistent in acting like a spoilt little twerp I'll give you that.

Perhaps people should direct their venom at Pearce? Would have been an entirely different game if not for that & everyone knows it. Besides Wednesday are bang in form at the moment & it was never going to be a walk in the park.

I know this might be a shock to you but we can't just turn up & assume we'll win every week.

Adkins is crap blah blah. Pathetic blah blah. We're 6th FFS get a fcuking grip you pathetic idiots.

Today was a freakish game that got ruined by an appalling Pearce error. The usually reliable McCarthy also dropped a clanger for their 2nd. Bad day at the office - move on.

Agent Balti So you actually think he told the players to go long? Bullshit.

So they don't do as they are asked by the manager? That is even more damning then 8)

Adkins seemed to suggest in his bbcberks interview that he had some input into our poor tactics today.

Absolute lol at you mate.
You sound like a right doormat.
Calling 0 shots on target against a shit team at home "pathetic" is acting spoilt is it?
Keep clapping you absolute wetwipe.
I bet you're sending fanmail to all involved as we speak.

Positives from tooday - Guthrie looked good & so did Willliams. Fully expect Guthrie to start v QPR in place of Akpan.

I've said that we made too many individual errors - most of you seem to agree with that.

I said that our attempts at getting back in the game at 0-2 were tactically questionable - some of you don't seem to agree, such is your prerogative.

I don't see how I have over-reacted here tbh, bit touchy some of you tbh :|

Thanks - I will do.

Much better than whining about losing & moaning at the management because we had 10 men for the entire game & conceded a penalty. Boo hoo.

The team has just scored what 17 goals or something in the last 4 games & yet the likes of you cannot wait to stick the knife in when something goes wrong.

At what point have I said we were good today? :|

All I've said is that you cannot fault the effort from any of them - which IMO you can't.

I can see it for what it was - a game ruined by a red card. Then we go 0-2 down & the players start panicking / getting tired & hoofing.

To start having a pop at Adkins for the result today is frankly laughable. The midfield was wrecked by GMac having to fill in at RB.

And to be fair to Wednesday they were defensively very well organised. They've hardly conceded any goals since Gray took over.

You constantly over-react. Constantly. You could not wait to jump all over the result. You take pleasure in any defeat, at any time, for any reason.

How Adkins can ultimately be to blame for a knucklehead defender getting sent off so early into the game is just childish. They rest of the players ran their balls off. Yet you see, long ball as a stick to beat the players and Adkins with. Bravo.

Covering ground for 80 minutes (actually 89 with injury time) with ten men...do you really think that going long unacceptable in that situation and weather? Really??? You expect silky skills still?! McCleary still ran the length of the pitch when he had no cover in front of him for most of the game. I think I'd forgive him for chancing a long ball now and then.

Stand up and take a bow Keith Hill - probably the most inept ref we have seen for a long time!

Maybe, by the letter of the law, the red card for Pearce was correct. However, if he is going to be that much of a stickler for applying the laws of the game then Maquire should have definitely seen red for intentionally hitting/pushing and kicking Obita right under the nose of the vertically challenged 'assistant' and only a few yards from Hill himself.

After that Hill routinely got things wrong both ways, was easily conned by players from both teams (e.g. ALF free kick after Pog's spectacular tumble on the left not long before half-time) and completely failed to deal with the way that Wednesday cynically wasted time (merely stating that he will add the time, doesn't stop teams as he should have noticed) and stopped the game by going down 'injured' whenever they felt the need to relieve Reading's pressure.

Basingstoke Royal Lol at the caller on bbcrb who said we should have brought McDermott back!

Agreed, although at times in the second half it looked like the ghost of Brian had returned! And who was the genius who decided to let Antonio go rather than give him a chance with us?

As much as I think Adkins is useless.
This defeat can be laid on two players for individual mistakes.
Pearce and McCarthy I'm afraid.
We can blame the ref,(who was awful) the Sheff players for time wasting, but at the end of the day these two players, especially Pearce cost us the game.

I didn't see the Obita incident but figured it must have been a red card offence for Obita to get so worked up over it. It all got a bit fiery today didn't it?! Wasn't expecting that sort of game at all today.

Made it more entertaining though...

If I attend a Reading game I always contribute to a thread such as this, win or lose.

Agent Balti How Adkins can ultimately be to blame for a knucklehead defender getting sent off so early into the game is just childish. They rest of the players ran their balls off. Yet you see, long ball as a stick to beat the players and Adkins with. Bravo.

I haven't blamed Adkins for the sending off m8 :| . That said, I thought his interview after the game was dishonest. "It was the referee's fault". No it wasn't, you utter Con Man :|

Agent Balti Covering ground for 80 minutes (actually 89 with injury time) with ten men...do you really think that going long unacceptable in that situation and weather? Really??? You expect silky skills still?! McCleary still ran the length of the pitch when he had no cover in front of him for most of the game. I think I'd forgive him for chancing a long ball now and then.

Again, I will say.....no problem with a direct ball, but aiming long diagonals at Pog is a poor attempt at a game plan. Pog's strength is not in his aerial ability.

Wednesday were dire 1st half.
Until the 2nd half, we were not massively hampered by being a man down. Yet still created nothing!
2nd half Wednesday were alright, made their extra man count and we were absolute shite.

I've not placed massive criticism at Adkins feet for the defeat. But it has to be said that he took responsibility for the 2nd half long ball tactics in his post-match interview, so all the "He didn't tell them to hoof it" crowd can oxf*rd right off.
