retro_royal What makes me laugh is people laughing at Moyes as it shows them up as being clueless.
Please explain how he is not getting the best out of the previously regarded good player RVP who has 13 goals in 16 games this season?

So you are a fan of Moyes then-good of you to "come out" and tell us about the one player who is still doing the business.
BTW have you just woken up from that borefest last night?
Once considered the great entertainers of the Best, Charlton, Law era and now a laughing stock, all in the space of a few months.
This fall from grace is even bigger than that of Blackburn especially when you have spent £60 million or so on new players and retained all of those from last year's championship-winning side.

creative_username_1 Impossible to test what would have happened had Fergie been here. They make fluke the CLol (think Chelsea 2012)

creative_username_1 Came first and second. Who knows who he would have managed to bring in over the summer, how players would be playing if he was still there
Absolutely no way of testing what may have happened

creative_username_1 Liverpool had a fair bit of luck that season getting through the rounds. They finished 4th to qualify and ended up in 5th
so they weren't that good a team. The final, i don't consider lucky. They were 3 down but came back.
It's pretty tight at the top so can't write them off this season.

Thing is what happened last summer was tested, it first happened a couple of seasons ago. Scholes retired, the midfield was weakened, they didn't really replace him and the only solution that Ferguson came up with when they were struggling was to bring Scholes out of retirement. The fact Man City didn't blow them completely out of the water in those two seasons was mainly down to Man City. The past two years at that club have built up to this, as Roy Keane said recently they've "cut corners" and used short term solutions. You'll probably say "Keane is just bitter at Ferguson" and that may very well be the case but that doesn't necessarily mean he's wrong either.
Ferguson left a big legacy there obviously but he let the foundations weaken for his successor.
