What's parking like around the ground? We might fancy this one if we don't do Brighton.

Think she who must be obeyed wants a few days in the sun this particular weekend. If not hopefully well in for this.

What a great day out it was last time? (Inflatables day?) Probs be an anti climax this time around.

My abiding memory is the beer fest on the concourse half time onwards. Gave up watching the game. (except for the penalty)

There is a car park right next to the entrance to the away end which I have always used. It gets full by about an hour before ko and is difficult to get out of after the game if you are in a hurry to get away but otherwise it's ideal. Think it was £8 last time. Otherwise there are various schools and industrial units offering parking within a 10 min walk.

I've parked on the street for the last couple of visits. Can be pretty hard getting away though.

Street parking off the A45 on Bolton Way not far from McDonalds is normally good.

Royals-lad14 IN!

anyone know best train prices to birmingham new street?

Best to book in advance
Split your tickets to make it cheaper

Reading-Banbury (Day Return) I suggest 11:40 from Reading

Banbury to Birmingham (Two Advanced Singles) Its cheaper to leave Birmingham at like 7pm

All in all about 23 quid for an adult from reading

Good day out Birmingham, think I've been there 4 times (including the last promotion season), and we've always got a decent turn out there.

Think I'm in

Now having second thoughts about this game

Have booked day off to go but may cancel and save money for Bournemouth game. Will see how I feel after Saturday!

Thats the one I managed to park in last time on Inflatables day. Remember having to wade through the inflatables that the stewards had kindly left there for us to collect after the game. Even saw one of the stewards taking my 6ft paddling pool for his granddaughter. Only took us about 10 mins to get out of before the coaches left.
