Including the friendly, that'll be 3/4 trips there on a Tuesday night, so no thank you!

Nice little result for us this evening. Not only have the chances of a Saturday afternoon game improved, but our main rivals for 6th place have a grueling midweek trip up to Hull to contend with. Cheers Brucey.

Hull won't lose at home. Simply not going to happen. Great result for us.

Replay is going to be on Monday night so doesn't make the following Saturday as bad for them as it could have been.

Match ticket £32
Off-Peak Day Return £32.50

With 7 games this month I am not sure this is feasible :(

Really want to go, but struggling to justify spending £32 to go there again, especially now I'm seriously considering Leeds 4 days later...

Don't forget that £32 includes transport around Brighton to the match.
For instance. If you park at Lewes I think you will find the train is free on production of your match ticket.

Does that mean those getting the train all the way only need buy a ticket to an intermediate station?

A station that you often pass through but whose name you can never remember?

Just that if not then it seems train users are actually subsidising the public transport costs of car drivers which doesn't seem on to me. Green PaROFLty politics.

Not at all, car drivers are advised to use the park and ride facilities... The cost of the match ticket covers the park and ride bus.

In the case of the FA cup game the match ticket was cheap (£10) so we had to pay for the park and ride bus.

No good for those of us who don't have to pay for the train anyway. Out.

So if I go by train and don't use the park and ride am I still paying for it?

I presume for those going on the train (myself included) it means that you'll be able to go from Brighton Station to Falmer Station without paying the £3/4 return or whatever - not sure whether this is correct or not though.
