Where to park - need a quick getaway tonight

by bobby1413 » 25 Mar 2014 17:09

Apologies for the new thread fellow nobbers. However, I have work tonight at 9pm and as a result can only really watch the first half. I've contemplated not going at all, but I've got a ST and don't like to miss a home match.

I usually park in Whitley. However, is there anywhere closer that is FREE. I was thinking of either Acre Road - but I'm worried about being clamped or fined, or possibly the retail park where B&Q is.

Thanks ya'all.

You could always consider chancing it in the retail park car park for the hour and a bit. If you have a PC World or B&Q carrier bag in the passenger seat, it might make them think you're shopping if they do a walk by..

Acre Road is no good now. Even the park car park at the top near Basingstoke Rd now clamp you on match days - w@nkers.

That or bite the bullet and park at the greyhound car park for £8... ouch.

Do people still park on the side of the A33 outside the dog track?

I'm risking the retail park outside B&Q.

Got here stupidly early... And then heard on BBCRB that it's an 8pm kick off

My own BFTG... Left with 36 minutes on the clock and to be honest was quite pleased to be leaving. I think that's the worst game I've seen all season.

I'm watching the score updates come in now and honesty I'm not surprised!

Oh and I did park outside B&Q with no issues.

Thanks everyone
