Yep, there are loads of them about regarding a variety of events/destinations etc all written with reminders that the authors are London based and are on a jolly to check out what happens in the provinces. I've no particular axe to grind as London is a place like any other (only bigger) to me.

Wales is a whole bloody country. A whole bloody country that sits – at dusk, at least – quite literally in the shadow of England

mebbe I'm being thick, but Wales is to the west of England. The sun sets in the west. So surely at dusk England is then in Wales' shadow
