The problem is - I was the only one on here to remember the anniversary. Seeing as their are quite a few Liverpool fans on this site, it's pretty poor they chose to ignore the anniversary again.

Perhaps if you were sincere about this instead of looking to score cheap points...

I remembered it but unfortunately, trying to score cheap points on here wasn't high on my list of priorities for honouring the dead.

By "ignoring" that doesn't mean that Liverpool fans weren't remembering in their own way and perhaps they don't need to share those feelings with a nobody .
Perhaps they don't find it necessary to post on the website of another club how they feel on any given day whereas clearly in your mundane life you get some warped kick about posting your every thought.
BTW did you add your condolences on the Juventus website where it might have meant something to a fan who lost somebody to think that football fans from elsewhere were sharing their day?

No, I didn't think so.

I added my condolences on Twitter and #Juventus so their fans could see it.

I also put my condolences up for Hillsborough and the Bradford City fire etc too.

BR2 - Please don't resort to personal insults on a thread which is to commemorate the dead.

No, your point, and mission is to wind up as many as possible. If you were that bothered, you would also have mentioned those that died at St Andrews when a wall collapsed. Or those that lost their lives in Ibrox. Or Burnden Park.

Fluent in Italian and Yorkshire eh?
We have had "rattlolled" , we have had "meltdown" and more recently "personal insults".
Kes, I would suggest that you debate on some teenies website rather than coming up with words or phrases like these when you are in a hole (often dug by yourself)-you are merely Vauxhall Conference when it comes to debate.

RIP the 39. 30th Anniversary next year, lets hope UEFA do something special to commemorate it.

Cheap shots make many a thread on this forum a mockery Kes, and you're the king of them. Stones and glass houses spring to mind...

May I remind you this thread is to commemorate the 39 Juve fans who were killed at Heysel.

Yeah, thanks for that Kes, it hadn't escaped my attention. But they weren't all Juve fans were they Kes? 32 were from Italy, four were from Belgium, two were from France and one was from Northern Ireland. Unlikely to all be Juve fans given that demographic...just saying like.

From Despair To Where? A rather sensible article by a Liverpool fan here:

http://www.theanfieldwrap.com/2013/05/what-about-justice-for-heysel/

I remember watching it all unfold live on TV. Very sad times

RIP

TBF - Liverpool FC did a nice tweet this morning. However, my news feed on FB was unusually quiet with the Liverpool fans this morning, unlike the anniversary of Hillsborough..

That's a very well written article, Kes. It makes a lot of very salient points. You might want to consider this one.

Actually, they might have a point, even if they raise it out of malice rather than consideration for the bereaved.

Whatever cause you think you further on here, you should consider that other football fans - whether on here or not - are personally affected by Hillsborough, Heysel, Bradford, stabbings in Istanbul and so on, and not be entertained by the impact your keyboard has on complete strangers, at the expense of the memory of those tragically killed.

As I said, Kes. Let's hope you're never personally affected by a similar tragedy.

Thanks and agreed. I'll chose not to ignore it though.
