Predicted Points Totals - Prem

by The Rouge » 30 Jul 2014 12:28

Who do you think will do better or worse than their predicted total? (for sake of argument, use the value in between the buy sell price - e.g. 73/75 = 74)

Chelsea....83
Man.C.....83
Man.Utd....77
Arsenal....76
Liverpool....72
Spurs....65
Everton....61
Stoke....45
Newcastle....45
Sotton....44
Swansea....43
Leicester....42
West.Ham....41
C.Palace.... 40
Sunderland....40
Hull....40
W.B.A....39
A.Villa....39
Q.P.R....38
Burnley....34

Can you put them in a proper 1-20 list please, The Rouge? I've had a big lunch so I need your help.

Eg.

1. Chelsea. 83.
2. Man City. 83

You get the picture.

Thanks.

You can't just abandon your thread like this. Terrible nobbing. You wouldn't do it in AE, so what makes you think you can do it in General Football? Coward.

I can honestly say the Premier League bores me. So for that reason, I'm out.

hang on, he's done what you asked him to do.

right, I think Saints (especially), West Ham and Swansea will be far lower in the table than that. Palace too.

Not sure that Leicester will do that well.
I also expect Liverpool to do better than Man Utd again.

Southampton obviously looking vulnerable. Swansea too perhaps? A lot of very poor teams this year for some reason!

I can see Chelsea and Everton beating those totals. Chelsea's expected 83 is only a point higher than they managed last season, and the squad had in theory been improved considerably.

I know Everton did about as well as they could last season, but I don't see any reason for them to backslide by 11 points.

I backed Swans to go down before they signed Gylfi. Not so sure now.

I've been thinking about it, Monk doesn't cut it in terms of tactics for me. It's kind of "just go and do what you've been doing before"

Michu, Davies and Vorm out. Fabianski and Gomis as replacements aren't brilliant.

They may survive, but it's gonna be a struggle.

Although they'll probably stick about 4 past us tomorrow

*Note, come May 2015, please don't come back to this post if the Swans do well*

I'm not sure about that. Michu was a relative unknown before he joined Swansea, and Fabianski is more than a match for Vorm. Neil Taylor is more than a good replacement for Davies, and Gylfi back is a big bonus. But agreed about Monk.
