Now 2-1 Nick Blackman with an absolute stunner from 25 yards....

Helluva goal by Blackman, who's looked alright. Hector ok, Obita good going forwards, everyone else pretty poor, Akpan atrocious.

2-0 down inside 30 minutes.
And they missed a penalty too. Sounds completely one-sided.
Do you know who conceded the penalty?
Handball by Morrison.
According to the Chronicle web sit it was Pearce (but that's no guarantee that it's right).

It was Pearce for the penalty, the most blatant handball I have seen for some time. Would definitely have walked in a league game, no way in pre-season. Though the ref did warn him

We're looking to play football same as we did last year trouble is I don't really think we have the players for it. Certainly Adkins has a few who are unavailable who would make the difference i.e Karacan and Guthrie. Defence still looks like it will ship a fair amount of silly avoidable goals this year.

If the chronicle told me it was Pearce I'd be inclined to think it was either Blackman or Cummings.

There's that avoidable defensive error...

GOAL. Swansea have their two goal lead back, a mix up between Morrison and Hector allowed Gomis to scamper away and finish well. 1-3

Well given all our players would get blown over by a stiff breeze we don't have the players to play a more direct game either

On what I've seen today Kuhl and Tanner should both be playing ahead of Hector and Edwards (sorry Pepe) next week

all over. 3-1 to the Swans. We've got a few players to come back from injury which should bolster the squad. Good that Blackman is having a go from distance. Seems to have a good shot on him - let's hope he gets a few in the league.

Not all doom and gloom. Thinking that we've got Guthrie, Williams, Jem, HRK and McCleary to come back, we'll have quite a few options to put out a competitive team. Bring in new players (striker, LB and CB) and we'll do well.

That's a tad harsh Hector was our best player in terms of first touch and passing today, he also broke the play up nicely In front of the back four and was very disciplined in terms of his position which he needed to be given his role. I would agree Kuhl looks decent though and I would have him in the side for Taylor.

Not sure how you could have come to the conclusion of Tanner needing to start, granted Edwards didn't achieve alot although his work rate was good, but Tanner was only on for less than 10 mins was it?

What was the attendance like? Did Swansea bring many fans?

About 5,000 in all, 1,000 or so Swans.

I'd planned to go but it all fell apart around lunch time, so I sat and sulked watching SSN :( Gutted to have missed that goal though!
