The atmosphere at The Bridge last night was much, much better than the 'hear a pin drop' atmosphere at Anfield when Liverpool played Ludogorets t'other week. I thought I had the tv on mute until Liverpool scored that last minute penalty.

I'm struggling with that one!

City can make it to 8 points if they beat Bayern and Roma.

If Roma and CSKA draw, Roma would then finish on 5 points. CSKA would have 5 points plus the result of their final game, with Bayern.

It should probably read that City could go out even if they win both games - because CSKA have the better head-to-head record in the event both are tied on 8 points.

I think it would be right however to state that City don't have to win tonight. If they draw and Roma vs CSKA is a draw, then it's the same scenario as above - beat Roma and hope Bayern don't slip up against CSKA in the final game.

Any positive result in the other game tonight though, and City have to win.
