Zammo Punditry is at an all-time low. Five Live, once the home of the great co-commentator now has Savage, Mills, Hartson and Jason Roberts on its books. Only Pat Nevin from the current crop is any good.

I actually quite like John Hartson. Savage is too much of a parody of himself. Pat Nevin is ok but far too far up Chelsea's arse to offer anything interesting when it comes to them. Mills and Roberts I honestly don't have an opinion on. Which probably says it all.
Chris Waddle is always good value on the rare occasions I listen to an England game as he seems to basically hate everything quite loudly whilst horrifically mangling the English language.

I actually have a lot of time for Lawrenson, numerous times during the World Cup when a player needlessly rolled around on the floor he could be heard muttering 'get up' or 'pathetic'. Amusing.
