Empty seats behind the goal

by OldBiscuit » 17 Mar 2015 10:52

I noticed that the seats directly behind the goal in the away end were purposely kept empty. This consisted of maybe 100 to 200 seats going back about 12 rows.

Why did this happen? Was it a ploy to protect Adam Federici from verbal abuse? Was it a ploy in case of a penalty shoot out? Can any one throw some light on this?

I believe it was a deliberate move by the club to see if anyone would notice and post the observation on HobNob.

To make it look, on TV, that Bradford couldn't sell out for their cup final

There were actually Bradford fans in those seats, they put the covers on just before ko.
Were probably the best seats in the house if you were a City fan....

That is the family area.

Apparently nobody from Bradford has a family.
