Great move and the shirt doesn't actually look too bad, looking forward to seeing it in action. Well done to everyone concerned.

Big Foot As good as it is, where will this stop?

Will we do away with home shirts and instead have 23 different "community projects" designing shirts for each and every game?

What the actual oxf*rd is wrong with you?

Hats off to both the club and the Avenue for this, the kit actually looks nice. Shades of Elm Park. I hope they put these up for sale, I would deffo grab a few.

Same here, I wonder what the cost would be to the club for a small run to sell in the MegaStore, proceeds to said charity of course. Surely Puma would be onboard for that as well.

Poor poor show TBM, on this occasion, your opinion would've been best kept to yourself

It's better than some of the shirts we've had done professionally, even if it isn't hooped.

It look like after the Blackburn match they are going to be signed by the players and put up for auction so I think that is the only chance to get one.

Pepe the Horseman Lovely story. Shame about the lack of hoops on the shirt though. They should make a load of them available to buy, as well as auctioning off the player shirts.

To be honest, we lost our hoops years ago. What we play in now is a manipulated mismatch of blue & white.

I like this shirt!

+1 A schoolkid designs a shirt better than half the shirts designed by professionals.

Maybe this is the club looking to cut costs in the shirt design department, Take a couple of kids on for work experience instead.

To be honest I think pretty much all Reading fans agree on what the kit should be; a basic full blue and white hooped shirt with red numbers, blue shorts and blue and white socks - it's not a complicated design at all!

I understand however that in regards to long term profitability, a random mishmash of blue and white with weird flicks and design elements makes more sense as this can be rehashed each year. oxf*rd capitalism!

Maybe the poster in question is actually a hunting master? Some Bear Grylls kind of character who enjoys popping along to the MadStad when he's not living under a bearskin shelter somewhere.

You'd be wrong.

There's a significant split between blue shorts and white shorts based on previous posts on here.

Plenty don't like red numbers. In fact the club changed away from them because it received complaints from fans about difficulty reading them, or so it said and iirc.

The club (or rather Puma) could certainly do a better job of it though. Or at least just chuck out one 'plain' kit every 4-5 years.
