Wembley central or Wembley park

by windermere_royal » 20 Mar 2015 17:45

I will be working to a tight schedule on SF day so I`m looking at the quickest route to get to Wembley. there is a direct tube from Padders to Wembley central or change at Baker street to Wembley park , given that we are at a different end this time I`m guessing WC may be the best choice.
Anyone know the walking distance from each station? and is the stadium only accessable along Wembley way?

Well Wembley central is a BR station so that`s where you will end up anyway

Wembley Stadium station is the closest, it's right next to the stadium on Wembley Hill Road. Wembley Park is next closest, and Central is the furthest of the three, but all are pretty close.

When I went to the play-off final I got the train from High Wycombe in to WS, and <humblebrag> was sat next to Martin Allen </humblebrag>. The train was absolutely rammed.

But it's all part of the experience. Out of Wembley Park, with the stadium framed, and Wembley Way packed with shirts. That said, I will be pre-match boozing at a friend's flat (overlooks the back of the arena) in order to avoid travel 'fun'.

Plus if you go to Wembley Park they offer a Shuttle Bus to the ground and there's a pub called The Torch really nearby

Why would you get a bus if its only a 10 minute walk?

Perhaps you might be working to a tight schedule?

Or have your circumstances changed since the OP?

It's not even that. with traffic, people in the road and it being a dead straight line from Wembley Park and the Stadium i'd imagine the bus would take longer than walking.
