Agreed, everyone's entitled to their opinion.

Whether you like the shirt or not though it's the principle that should be applauded, a wonderful thing for the club to do as one off and I hope it makes shed load of money for the charities involved.

Ian Royal Plenty don't like red numbers. In fact the club changed away from them because it received complaints from fans about difficulty reading them, or so it said and iirc..

They are only hard to read because there's no panel on the back. It's as if they deliberately made it awful this year so people would complain, and they can go back to a single colour next year.

Unfortunately the club/Puma don't seem capable of grasping that "no panel" and "the whole back in one colour" are not the only two options.

I quite like the shirt as a one-off, although I'm not keen on the green bits. It's nice to see a bit of royal blue in a Royals shirt.

Big Foot As good as it is, where will this stop?

Will we do away with home shirts and instead have 23 different "community projects" designing shirts for each and every game?

What the actual oxf*rd is wrong with you?

Indeed - how dare I have an opinion

Always appreciate the charitable efforts the club makes and this is a great gesture but that design looks like someone threw up on a blue shirt.

Hence why I felt I had to quantify I was criticising the shirt design and not the cause! They could design a kit that makes us look like Swindon for all I care if it's for charity.

TBM The size of his head
FAIL
He is sat a few feet forward of Karacan and co.

As for the shirt itself, the trees (not as someone has suggested, Monster drink phsycadelia) are all about the Avenue School badge. Some (old enough to remember) might say, that it unintentionally has nice overtones of the old Elm Park badge.

One or two of us on here know a fair bit about this lad ( and where it's all possibly going to end up ) but on this occasion, the real credit here goes to those players that we have criticised all season and have felt so disenfranchised with.....good work lads.

It's not a great photo, he is closer to the camera so looks bigger.

There's an episode of Father Ted about Small v Far Away that would help you, however Channel 4 have removed all the youtube clips - boo!

Nice to see that The FA have invited Ryan to be mascot at Wembley. Good that there will be one proper Royals mascot there.

For the record the Huddersfield fan Ryan isn't going to be a mascot any more, they did it to "protect" the kid from being booed, you know the situation that wouldn't have occurred if he hadn't been a cocky arrogant little shit.

Either way, a proper Royal gets to be a mascot for our semi-final and the twat Ryan gets to be a mascot for a future England match. Win-win.

Probably a sensible decision . An England game makes more sense, you can't really be a meaningful mascot of a team you have no link to or interest in.
Hope he enjoys the game he does go to and is replaced by someone to whom this game matters.

The £15k plus car was presented today....the Avenue school will use it to its best potential.

Well done all......especially Jem Karacan who instigated Ryan's Royals
