That was against Derby,

Injury time, 1-1, Lee Camp flapped at a deflected cross and Curo banged it in from 8yds

Saw Cureton play for Dagenham at Newport yesterday. The usual thing, playing on the shoulder of the last man, offside once or twice but not deterred, put his best chance just over but the game was won by then (from my point of view, lost). He played the whole 90 minutes and looks leaner than in his prime. Certainly looks like he has another season in him. Matt Partridge played RB for Dagenham and looked like a solid L2 defender.

Strange game, 0-0 after 75 minutes, Dagenham scored three in 10 minutes, Newport got two in stoppage time.

Get him back, I bet he'd put away more chances than Pog - he couldn't be any less mobile either.

Ended up with 20 goals for the season - could still do a job as an impact sub for us even now i'd say, not that it's going to happen though.

Going back to earlier in the thread, that Burnley goal is one of my favourite goals live - my first ever game, seemed to take ages to drop into the net. But I thought it was the Brighton goal that was being referred to. It was a Friday night TV game, which having double checked was towards the end of our first season in the Championship, a 1-2 home defeat and his goal came in the 84th minute. Remember being out that night and being desperate to go to a pub that was showing it. By the time I got there the game had finished, seem to remember a mate saying he'd caught some of the end of it and it was a good goal, which left me disappointed I hadn't been able to see the last 10 mins.

Signs a one year deal with Daggers.

On 278 career goals, wants 300 before he retires.
