sandman Good to see the World's most expensive footballer jogging around like he's just landed from Mars and seen a football for the first time. Still frimmers will make endless excuses for a former spurs player.

Corrected for you.

Is it time to scrap the away goals rule?

Juve played really well last night, but a 1-0 defeat next week will see them out. Seems pretty harsh.

Very good match last night, enjoyed that from start to finish

Juve playing probably the "least Italian" football I've ever seen from an Italian team

Juve have an additional 30 minutes to score an away goal in extra time though. I think it's probably fine left as it is tbh.

They did play well last night though, a couple of big misses which I hope don't come back to haunt them. Llorente should have buried that header for 3-1.

But then you have a scenario where a team going out of the competition hasn't been beaten. Scrap away goals rule I reckon.

Manual Neuer - Idiot

by Franchise FC » 07 May 2015 07:18

He's just cost Bayern any chance of beating Barca.

Not because his performance was anything less than excellent, but simply down to taking a goal kick way too quickly.

Neymar dives, ref goes for his pocket which would mean a second yellow and therefore red, but Neuer decides to take the goal kick quickly which lets the ref off the hook.

Bayern lose the ball, Messi scores and the rest is one way traffic.

If he waits, it's still 0 - 0, Barca are down to 10 and it's all to play for.

Idiot.

I have oft been accused of 'w@nking over Messi'. Frankly, after last night's performance, I think it's entirely justified.

Frightening.

Immense performance from Messi last night, was very good from start to finish

Commentators saying about how they'd "never seen a side do 11 vs 11 man marking" - obviously didn't watch Reading at United away opening day of the 07/08 season

Messi is the best player in the World this week.

Next week it will be Ronaldo.

Sigh.
