Bale can f[u]ck off. That said well done to Juve, although might as well write Barcelona on the trophy now as there is no way Juve will win the final.

I'm sure that will be the first of the many excuses from the British media and fans for Bale tonight. It's either Ronaldo, the other players not passing to him, the Spanish media or those mean Madrid fans. He is out of his depth there, even last season when he was scoring the important goals he scored there was a concern that he wasn't involved in games enough and that has carried on to this season.

I think Juve are more suited to beat Barca

Evra vs Messi will be... well, messy.

No way will the Barca front three be as wasteful in front of goal as Bale and Madrid were.

I know he's one of the greatest players ever but watching Ronaldo do his sulky cry baby face never gets old.

Saw a stat last night that Bale (widely criticised) and Hazard (best season of his career) have the same number of goals and assists this season, but Bale has played fewer games. Interesting to see how they're compared, but guess that's the pressure of playing for a top team.

Read this morning that Florentino Perez has overseen Real Madrid for 12 years now during which he has obviously thrown around mental amounts of money.

36 major trophies (league, cup, CL) on offer during that time and they have won just 7 of them.

lolz

It's one of those things though. If they had won more trophies, you would say they bought them. As they've only won 7 you're LOL'ing. Just goes to show that money doesn't always = success and that whichever situation you are likely to have a dig.

When you show the 2005 League trophy pic, United are on it 8 times out of 13

Bale is more than capable there as stats will tell you, I think he needs to be a focal point though. Perhaps he just doesn't work in a team like Real Madrid's? And he is probably more suited to the Premier League. If Hazard is a world class player so is Bale.

He wouldn't be half as slated if it wasn't for Ronaldo banging in an unheard of amount of goals every season. He has that to live up to, I know he cost more but that's not his fault.

Eyes will tell you more and even with his stats there he has struggled. These concerns over him have been there since last season where, even though he was scoring and getting assists, he was often on the periphery of games. Last season's CL final perfectly illustrated his struggles. He scored the second goal but before that he was probably the worst player on the pitch and missed at least three very good chances.

Last year he relied on his natural ability and instincts and they just about got him through but now his comparative lack of technical ability is showing him up.

It's only the media that's slating Bale which the fans seem to think is fact.

But with the players and disposal Real Madrid have, fact is Bale wouldn't be picked if he was as bad as the Spanish media are reporting.

Except Ancelotti said earlier this season that if he's fit Bale will play no matter what his form is.

Perez even marched into Ancelotti's office earlier this year demanding to know why Bale was substituted during a particularly woeful personal performance against Valencia.

Wow - was that handball the worse decision in a major game since all those Swansea free kicks in the play-off final?
